As written in the official course description the exam consists of an oral examination and exercises. There will be mandatory exercises to hand in every week and then an oral examination in May. The grade is given by an overall assessment.
A few eager students have asked the basic question: Which of the references listed for a particular week should we read?
For part I and probably also part II and III (under construction) the answer is the following:
In general, there is no right answer. We will selectively choose different bits from a wide range of material and therefore the list of references is a superset of the material we will cover and may also consist of duplicates. However, a good strategy for finding the most the relevant and condensed material is to read the notes if available, and otherwise read the most recent paper.
